The upcoming bollywood movie De Dana Dan is releasing on 27th November 2009.
Strating Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Katrina Kaif and directed by Priyadarshan. Paresh Rawal, Neha Dhupia and Sameera Reddy in supporting roles.
Story of De Dana Dan is based on two friends – Nitin Bankar (Akshay Kumar) and Ram Mishra (Suneil Shetty) come to Singapore in the hopes of striking it rich.
Nitin ends up as an all-in-one help to an industrialist played by Archana Puran Singh. His girlfriend Anjali Kakkad (Katrina Kaif) helps him out with the money.
Ram Mishra gets a job delivering courier and is head over heels in love with the very wealthy Manpreet Oberoi (Sameera Reddy). Her parents will never let her marry a delivery man and to make things more difficult the conniving Harbans Chadda (Paresh Rawal) enters the picture.
Chadda is heavily in debt and the only way he can get out of it is by getting his son, played by Chunky Pandey, to marry a rich woman and bring in some dowry. He decides Manpreet is just the girl for his son.
With their girlfriends on their case, Nitin and Ram, have to do some quick thinking to make some money. And they decide to kidnap a very important person. The ransom money is on its way but things fall apart as their plan is crowded by an assassin, guests who have to attend Manpreet’s reception, an ACB police officer, a dead body, a drunkard….
So where does that leave our boys?
OK Guys this is it.. just watched De Dana Dan and believe me its a disappointment. a messy, confusing, utter nonsense.
surprisingly the movie released on wednesday and a bug bite me to watch it first day first show. there is the whole industry in the movie to name with Akshay kumar, Sunil Shetty, Paresh rawal, Katrina Kaif, Sameery Reddy, Neha Dupia, Rajpal yadav, Asrani, Shakti kapoor, Sarat sexana, Tinu anand, Johnny lever, vikram gokle, bla bla bla.. u got all of them but the script is mis leading and comic timings are too bad and the songs pops up n e time any where one feels like going for a strawl as the picturization of songs is so bad over all priyadarshini lost it all this time. hardly at 3 places you feel like laughing other then that its a pale tale. the lead girls have no scope at all they are like show pieces n both the lead guys have white hair’s they are grown old y dont they just bleach them black?
there is one thing to feel good about is the climax i.e. the whole swiming pool comes down with a bomb blast and beautifully it’s been showed the water comes from the terrace passing thru each floor flooding the rooms, kitchen, lobies, n finaly at the ground floor. but again the end is too bad and plain. over all akshay kumar kept upto his standard of his new title “King of Trash” congrats
