Kamal was born on 7th Nov, 1954.
When Kamal was only 6years old child, he made his debut in the movie Kalathur Kannamma & he got National Film Award for The Best Child Artist for this movie.
In 1988 Kamal got married with Sarika, they have 2children: Akshara Hassan& Shruti Hassan (debut in Luck). Kamal& Sarika are separated IN 2003.
