My Name Is Khan is upcoming 2010 Bollywood film based upon a true story. It is directed by Karan Johar, co-produced by Johar (Dharma Productions) and Shahrukh Khan, (Red Chillies Entertainment)

Starting Shahrukh Khan and Kajol. The music is given by the trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

The trailer for My Name Is Khan is already released on 16 December 2009 at 10pm on the Star TV network across 70 countries. The theatrical debut of the trailer appeared with James Cameron’s Avatar.

The film is slated for global release to theaters on 12 February 2010.

Story:

Rizwan Khan a Muslim child who has Asperger syndrome, grew up with his mother in the Borivali section of Mumbai. As an adult, Rizwan moves to San Francisco and lives with his brother and sister-in-law. He falls in love with Mandira (Kajol) whom he later marries.

After 9/11, Rizwan and Mandira begin to face a number of difficulties which causes them to separate. Rizwan then begins a long journey across the United States to win Mandira back.
