It would appear from the very beginning that the only target of the film makers is to scare the audience. One would fail to connect many scenes that are shown till interval. A viewer would have to fight the urge to find the exit strongly. The Director’s confusion as to where the story to be taken is vivid from shot one.

To cite an example, just contemplate the scene where the servant girl takes a dip in the river and comes out with a weird look. What was it, and what connection does that have on the story? The film is full of such broken links.

Does it draw the viewers to it? It simply draws the viewers to their seats for a nap.

Any suspense? Yes, I have noticed many viewers looking at their wrist watches or mobile phones to know the time.

The movie is a torture. I find no suitable adjective other than this. Two and a half hour would appear like getting forced to bear a politicians rubbish speech. Perhaps it has more sense.
